Human Resources Generalist

BoDeans is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support our Le Mars, IA manufacturing facility!

Job Summary: This person works directly with the Human Resources Manager to support all aspects of the Human Resources department for the Le Mars, IA location.

Duties and Responsibilities: • Staffing – Collaborates on all staffing activities including recruiting, interviewing, post-offer screenings, job postings, advertising, staffing agency relationships, and orientation • Employee Relations and Communication – Works with the HR Manager and CHRO on internal employee communications, company events, the administration of corrective actions, counseling management in disciplinary situations, and reviewing all employee termination processes and exit interviews for 300+ employees • Policy and Procedure – Understands and administers company policies, procedures, and documentation • Benefits – Works with the HR Manager to administer location benefits plans, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, ESOP, and voluntary benefits. With the HR Manager, the HR Generalist is responsible for compliance, communication, billing, enrollment, plan reviews, and maintaining applicable relationships with third party administrators and brokers. • WC – The HR Generalist is the backup contact for the location’s worker compensation program, including case management, claims submission, incident reporting, light duty and return to work program. • Compliance – Responsible for understanding and ADA, FMLA and EEOC tracking and compliance and for brining emerging issues to the attention of the HR Manager • Training - In conjunction with a corporate education and training specialist and the location HR, Quality, and Safety teams, collaborates on developing and administering training courses for annual and ongoing regulatory training and employee development needs. • Recordkeeping – Under the HR Manager, maintains department records, reports, company organizational charts, employee directory, as well as the contents and compliance of all personnel files • Performs other duties as required and assigned • Some travel required

Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field • Five years Human Resources experience • SHRM-CP Required

Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Must be able to lift 15-30 lbs • Must be able to climb stairs and access all areas of various facilities

Hourshift: Full Time, Non-Exempt

Pay Rate: Depends on experience
