Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) in our Radiology Department for a Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist.

We are looking for an AMAZING Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist with a "Get It Done" attitude!  The ability to work with a TEAM in a collaborative and communicative environment is a MUST! 

Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic sonographic procedures for patients as ordered with ultrasound equipment for the radiologist to interpret.
• Understands anatomy and physiology of the human body and the disease process, where applicable to ultrasound.
• Assist physician in such procedures as breast biopsies, paracentesis, thoracentesis.
• Correlates the ultrasound exam with other tests and preparations to best pronounce the disease process.
• Daytime hours 8-hour shifts. 

Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech Requirements:

• Completed approved American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) Pathway.
• Preferred registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer through American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography (ARDMS).
• Preferred registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
