Office Coordinator Morningside University is accepting applications for the full-time position of Office Coordinator to join the Student Financial Planning Office team. This position will give you the opportunity to support students and families while assisting in the daily operations of the Student Financial Planning Office.
Responsibilities: Responsible for office administrative support by answering phones, providing information, handling walk-in traffic, process daily mail, data entry, scheduling appointments, etc. Counsel students and parents on the financial aid process and eligibility criteria for federal, state, private, and Morningside programs Handle office communications Supervise and perform all tasks related to file maintenance Coordinate financial aid application workshops and seminars Participate in the Account Advising Program reviewing options with students and/or parents Handle high school senior scholar program awards Determine post-secondary enrollment act program awards Responsible for receipt of Private Scholarship checks coordination
Qualifications: Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred. Customer service oriented attitude. Strong computer skills. Ability to work with minimum of direction and be able to make decisions requiring good judgment and initiative. Must have superior interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. Review of applications for the position will begin immediately and will continue until filled.
