Siouxland Community Health Center has an opening for:

Chief Medical Officer

1- Full-time

Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:
  • Physician (MD or DO)
  • Board Certified in family practice preferred
  • Proficient in the use of EHR and is an advocate for its optimization
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:
  • Serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team and the Director's group.
  • Directly supervise all medical providers employed by SCHC, and in such capacity, oversee the quality of care provided to all SCHC patients.
  • Direct all credentialing and privileging activities of the medical staff.
  • Coordinate mid-level supervision.
  • Direct reports to this position would be Physicians (5), Quality Director (1), Midlevel Medical Directors (3), and Clinical Pharmacists (2).
  • Serve as Director of Anesthesia Services - Medical
  • Serve as Lab Director.
  • Establish quality metrics for the medical staff.
  • Serve as a member of the Quality Committee of the board, as well as the operations Quality Committee, presenting quarterly reports.
  • These functions are not all inclusive.
