The Siouxland Community Health Center has an opening for:

Risk Management Specialist

(1-Full-time) Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:

Current RN licensure, or related clinical certification/licensure
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Solid organizational and customer service skills
Strong written, verbal, interpersonal relations and communication skills.
5 years or more of clinical experience preferred
Experience in identifying or mitigating risk
Knowledgeable in medical or dental clinic standards
Must have ability to handle confidential information on a need-to-know basis as defined by SCHC.

Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:

Document, and ensure communication of, key risks.
Gather risk-related data from internal and external resources.
Produce reports or presentations that outline findings, explain risk positions, and recommend changes.
Develop and maintain an incident reporting system.
Identifies training requirements for specialized areas within the organization; develops content of training, collaborates with Human Resources to integrate training into LMS and training criteria for appropriate departments and staff.
Maintains policy & form drive for organization.
Oversees provider peer reviews.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
