  • Effectively collaborates with district teams including District School Improvement, EL and MTSS Behavior teams, while reporting to curriculum, instruction and assessment in support of coherent implementation across Tiers 1, 2 and 3.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides leadership, collaboration, training, consultation, and support to administrators, teachers, and school-based teams to facilitate implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) at the district and school levels. Activities include:

  • Accessing and interpreting data: Using district platforms and applications to gather, review and understand group and individual student data to support and inform leadership and intervention decisions, monitor progress, and assess effectiveness of instruction at tiers 1, 2 and 3
  • Model lessons in core curricula and interventions
  • Promote and support professional learning in relation to MTSS at all tiers of instruction
  • Assists in monitoring fidelity of implementation of MTSS at the school level including in academic support systems 
  • Assists in monitoring MTSS processes to ensure implementation of district expectations, state guidelines, and federal regulations.
