Hospital- based Ambulance Department:
- $24/hr starting, 2% annual increase
- SPH pays for Critical Care cert, which increases pay by 2%,
Eligible for additional pay incentives, $1.75/hr weekend differential & bonus, $1.05/hr evening diff, $3.50/hr night diff, on call pay

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: 2 Years of practical experience in Emergency Medical Services in preferred.
EDUCATION: High school graduate, GED, or equivalent. Successful completion of a Paramedic course or equivalent is required.
Associate of Applied Science or equivalent is preferred.
Must participate in annual refresher training and continuing education in order to maintain licensure.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY: State of Montana Paramedic or Registered Nurse with recent Certificate of Equivalency or Physician Assistant licensure required. National (NREMT) certification preferred. BLS and ACLS. , PALS, NRP PHTLS, and EVOC certifications are required within the earliest reasonable offering / within one year. Critical Care Transport endorsement within 18 months. Current Montana State driver's license and excellent driving record is required.
