Operates a variety of construction and heavy mobile equipment such as scrapers front end loaders. Road Graders and excavators. Licensed to operate a motor vehicle in the state of Nebraska to include a commercial driver's license (CDL) or the ability to receive a class A CDL is required as operation of tractor trailer such as lowboy, side dump and belly dump trailers is required. Performs maintenance and repairs on equipment. Required to follow directions of crew foreman and work well with other individuals of the county road department. the ability to perform manual labor involving bending, lifting and carrying, and similar motions in possible adverse weather. this is a full-time position, 40 hours a week. Mandatory 6-month probation period. Snow removal and emergency response as required (overtime as necessary)
